If anyone ever needs to splice wires together, I hope this video I made helps you. Typically you want to avoid going to a smaller gauge wire like I did in the video, but the smaller gauge that I used can handle the application of charging a single mCP X battery. In the video it may not be clear, but I am heating the wire to the point where it is hot enough to melt the solder and then the wires suck it all up (:54-:57) and create an extremely strong (physically and electrically) joint.
