Older MS Composite Night Blades bad?

I've got a couple sets of older MS Composite night blades but I'm afraid to use them due to the failures I've heard about.

I've heard of both Mains and tail blades breaking in flight. Are these isolated incidents with the older blades or should I be worried?

BTW, the blades are about 5 years old
