I see people mention balancing a complete tail assembly using a prop balancer. I don't have a prop balancer and never even seen one up close so I'm wondering how exactly it's rigged up.
If I take say a 500 ESP tail shaft, put the slider assy and rotor assy on it there's hardly any open shaft left with the bevel gear being part of the shaft. That's why I'm wondering how you even get it on a balancer. Pictures of an assy setup on a balancer or a video would help me grasp it.
Is there any other way to do it besides an actual balancer?
