Can you help me diagnose what happened to my 500 yesterday? All usual pre-flight checks OK - mechnical and electrical, spool-up fine, locked-in on Jive governor, steady lift-off to eye-level 7m away, move left 3m, move right 6m, back to centre, small left rudder, small right rudder - WOW ...instantly went as if I had used full left aileron and smacked into the ground. :face
Took it home and did a full check before dismantling. Everything worked as expected and nothing loose or detached. All servos moving in the right direction, swash moving smoothly. The good news is that although it looked and sounded really bad the damage was confined to tail boom, swash link rod, belt pulley and a disintegrated main blade.
So now I'm worried about flying it again as I can't work out what went wrong - all suggestions welcome.
Btw I'm running with a mini VBar and two Spektrum satellites and have seen the recent forum on possible issues here. There were several other flyers in proximity (fixed wing) so could interference be a possibility? I doubt it but am open to anything that I can pinpoint.
Thanks in anticipation.
