3gx on 250

Picked up a Trex 250. When it came the 3gx was not installed or setup so i have no idea how to do this(first fbl system). I plugged all the stuff in like i would for a normal rx and bind it to my DX7.

What type of setting should i even be using on the DX7? Swash type?

Then how do i set it up. Really want to set it up tonight for an attempt at flying tomorow
