Business Type??

Hey Folks!
2 Questions.....if you have a moment.......

I currently live in California and am curious to know what kind of Business License I will need to shoot motion sports and commercial videography from my T-Rex 700?
I'm thinking it's a LLC, but I need to be sure do to the high cost of a LLC in California ( $800 ) per year, plus if I record a profit with an LLC in California I get to pay 20% Yikes !!!,,

Second question, Do I need private insurance in order to shoot at or for different venues / companies ? this might be specific to the Client.
