So I'm going to try brushless again. I have the 4g3 brushless motor and esc. They work fine, and had enough power for what I want to do.
However I could never get the tail to hold, and I think it was because of the stock 12 or 13T pinion. Given that this stated 11000kv motor is actually closer to 15000kv that makes for insane headspeed, and constant motor torque that could not hold.
ANYHOW, now that there are better options for the tail, I want to try brushless again. I've got very little money to spare, so I'm going to use what I have. I already have a Steve converter.
Just need some micro deans, and an 8 or 9 tooth pinion for the helimax/novus/walkera motor
