Well had a blade strike on woody blades Mini Titan, ended up with 2 bags of matchwood lol. Only other damage was teeth missing on a cyclic C1016 servo.
Managed to aquire replacement gears, they dont come with the final drive bearing!
The bearing was a bugger to get off the broken gear so after trying a few methods, finally found a method that worked well:
Get a sharp wood chisel, hold the gear with pliers on some wood, place the chisel bottom level with the bearing, a bit of pressure cuts the final drive spigot clean off and the bearing pushes out easily without damage. (Cut closer to the gear not the top spigot)
Pushed the bearing on the new final gear spigot easily, changed all the gears, a bit of white grease and servo as good as new :thumbup:
