For such an amazing little helicopter.. I must say I never expected to have so much fun & learn so much with this little thing.
I remember years ago getting my Blade CX and having a blast.. from there on making quite a stupid decision and jumping up to a CP Pro within a month. I could barley hover the thing, thats when I took a break from the hobby for a few years, I just didn't have the patience back then..
Then in the beginning of 2011 I picked up a MSR /Phoenix and got hooked all over again, over the year I would fly on and off. Just recently I decided that the little Msr did its job and it was time to move on.. I ended up picking up a MCPx a few weeks ago. It was slightly challenging at first, but I've had a quite a few hours of sim time. I was hovering out of the box and practically mastering all the hovering orientations in just under a week. By the second week I was doing circuits and semi decent figure 8's in my backyard..
Just this week I've begun flipping her over and practicing inverted hovers, which are going surprisingly well. I never expected to learn so much, so fast, I guess all that sim time really paid off.. I know I still have a lot to learn and thats the part that excites me most. For once I can finally say that I will definitely be sticking with this hobby for a while.
