mcpx normal mode pitch on the move

hi, having finally picked up a digital pitch gauge i'm having a close look at my normal mode pitch settings. To do this I've unplugged the tail and main motor. This is my first time doing this, previously i've looked at the pitch via throttle hold only and with throttle hold all looked fine.

to my surprise i found that the pitch gauge reads that pitch is slowing increasing positively all on it's own, in fact it's so obvious i don't need the gauge. When I do not feed any throttle/pitch via the transmitter to the two front servos wind down and the rear servo winds up thus increasing the pitch and putting the swash at a steep angle.

As this happens if i feed in more or less pitch to the full position all three servos extend moving in a synchronised fashion but at this new strange angle. Only time this doesn't happen is when pitch is at the lowest stick position and when i return to this position after the swash is out of alignment it's like the servos 'click' and bang they're back where they should be ie. level. then if i move the stick quickly up and down all is fine, its only when i level a pitch set on the stick and is above minimum that it goes haywire.

i'll do a quick video. http://youtu.be/i7kBl6Np0No it's uploading. please having a look for me in a couple of hours.

Joe
