So I just completed a 2S conversion on a brand new V2 using an XP-7A with a C05-7900 and put a Murata 3 amp converter on the 3-in-1. 120 tail. Weight=44.1g. I have two skids to use either Hyperion 180's or dual stock paks.
Many thanks to pioneers like Liftbag, and all the others sharing so much cool information!
What I Like about this setup:
1) Less current through each cell means they're more efficient, and way less stressed. I can use my older stock batts that can no longer handle the 20+ C output.
2) This motor fits into the stock frame with less modification than the 1S C05M, leaving it stronger than with the C05M.
What I need/want:
1) A canopy with a deep belly that can enclose either battery setup
2) Options for a "next" motor for when I get the urge to mod rather then fly. Want it to be 2S, and mountable into a stock frame.
Thoughts appreciated!
