We attempted this the other day with disastrous results!
The 3gx has been set up with my dx7 but I used a friend's JR dsx9 as the master.
He copied my settings straight across and gave it a quick test on the bench. It all seemed to work fine. I set a model in my transmitter to 1 servo 90 degrees (as you would in the sim) and when he switched control to me there was a slight jump in pitch but I was able to control the model correctly.
We've buddyboxed other models without a problem so we know that part works.
When we went to fly every time he switched control to me the model would go to full negative! Very scary, lucky he was quick on the draw and grabbed it back off me in time to save it. We didn't have enough time to have another go at setting it up so we left it at that.
Like I said, on the bench it seemed fine but was there some step we missed?
