Using a Buffer Pack on a CC 120 ICE2

Anyone doing it?

I have read mixed reviews about doing it, but I need some sort form of backup.

I have also looked at running a LiFe 900mah buffer pack opposed to Ni-Cd; anyone done this before?

I will be using a Gryphon 7075 BEC.
