Hi guys,
I did some searching already but didn't find an answer. I apologize if this is a redundant post.
How many flights are usually required to break in a new stock mCPx motor? I ask because even with tinned connectors and main gear mesh identical to my old motor, this new motor is sucking more amps while providing less power and shorter run time :(
My old motor hasn't puked on me yet but after a couple hundred flights I figured I'd retire it. Now I'm thinking twice about putting the old one back in.
I really haven't paid a lot of attention to this little bird during flying season and now that I'm flying it again regularly, I'm quickly reminded of what a frustrating ownership experience this heli can dish out.
