Want to run HV servos on big electric - opinions

Guys I'm trying to figure out how to power the servos in my upcoming 700 electric build. I'm keen to hear some opinions from those who've done this as I'm a bit conflicted about my hardware choices. Motor and ESC is supposed to be a HeliJive and Pyro setup, with JR 8917 or 8717 HV cyclics and BLS256HV tail.

As far as I know the Jive doesn't do more than 6v so that rules out using it's BEC. It's a real waste then, having a $570 ESC and not using the BEC. My favorite for the BEC role is the WR Super BEC. I checked the specs and it can run at 8.4V, not the 7.4V the servos are rated for. I know that most HV servos will run at 8.4V but I've also seen some die at 8.4v. Are there other BECs that can run 7.4v (like my Castle Pro) or should I not worry about it with the 8917HV/8717HV + BLS256HV? Another option is to run a regulator like I have in my nitro - that is switchable to 7.4v. I just want the build as clean and light as possible.

Musing welcome.
