The swash thread got me wondering about my COG. After I level my swash and set my pitch, I still have to shorten the front elevator link one full turn to get it hover level with minimal stick input. Thereby tilting the swash slightly forward. I have leveled/weighted the heli to the point that the nose dips forward (down) when lifted from the flybar.
The body has never been compromised and flies smoothly, no vibrations, no bent shaft. If I leave the swash at absolute level, the bird wants to constantly go backwards, thereby having to constantly give forward input to hold.
Does anybody else have this issue?
