I keep hearing about how great Horizon Hobby's customer service is. I remember one time they got me a new ar6400 when I had a bad one. I think I had to call them on the phone a few times to get it.
I've emailed them about 2 separate issues in the past month and neither issue was responded to. What's going on with Horizon Hobby? Why don't they email me back? I'm not going to buy anymore JR stuff because they won't support it. If I want that kind of support I'll just buy Turnigy stuff for 10% of the price.
I eventually fixed both problems I was having but it took me alot longer than it would have if they would have just answered my emails.
So from now on I'm going to keep buying Futaba servos because I have never ever ever ever had a single problem with anything from them. I am also going to try out some MKS servos because I like to try new things and they look awesome.
I was going to buy a JR 9503 but I bought a Hitec Aurora 9, which is freakin awesome.
I'm not sure what kinda gyros I will buy from now on. I kinda liked the 770 and 370 because they were pretty stupid proof. Plus I know a JR dealer who sells 770s for $80 and 370s for $60. Maybe I'll just go flybarless from now on. V-Bars are expensive though. Is there an inexpensive flybarless system? I'll make a new post for that I guess.
